Thanks to Allah , today two initiatives were launched by the Eastern Province Desalination Company. The first: an initiative to support 300 orphans with school supplies for the year 2024. The second: an initiative to support 100 orphan families.
Under the patronage of His Excellency, Member of the Shura Council, Talib Al Balushi, and in the presence of the CEO of the Eastern Company, Murshid bin Abdullah Al Fanna, Khamis Rashid Sultan Al Harbi, Head of the Industry Department, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and Dr. Saleh Al Alawi, Director of Social Responsibility at the Company
The CEO of the Eastern Province Desalination Company, Murshid Abdullah Al-Fanna, said: We have an annual strategy that is prepared by the work team of the social responsibility program in Sur, in which we focus on supporting the community, especially such a group. They need such support to facilitate the educational process for them, and it is not hidden from everyone that such families need support for a decent life.
Khamis Rashid Al Harbi, Head of the Industry Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, said: “Based on encouraging leading companies to maintain social responsibility, the Ministry is interested in encouraging companies and factories in the governorate to undertake such initiatives that serve society in the first place and serve the Omani citizen in particular, which has a positive impact. Therefore, we thank the Eastern Desalination Company for this charitable work and we call on all companies to take the initiative to activate social responsibility in the governorate.”
