It is one of the eye falaj, located in the town of Al-Jila, which is affiliated with the Wilayat of Sur in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and is fed by Wadi Shab. This falaj is considered the main water source for the town and its channels are 161 meters long.
The falaj was added to the World Heritage List in June 2006, and has become one of the heritage and cultural landmarks included in this list.
