The end of the Asian Continental Championship for Professional Jiu-Jitsu 2024
Asian Continental Championship for Professional Jiu-Jitsu September 13 to September 15, 2024
Continuous competitions and efforts of the Sultanate’s champions in international, continental and global competitions in November 2024 amidst an exciting competitive atmosphere, bringing together the most prominent stars of the game from all over the world.
The 2024 Asian Continental Jiu-Jitsu Championship concluded, which was held at the Mubadala Arena with the participation of the categories of buds, children, cubs and youth, with the participation of 3,000 male and female players, including 600 male and female athletes from outside the United Arab Emirates. The competitions attracted 73 clubs and academies from across Asia and the world and lasted for 3 days.
The championship witnessed the participation of 6 players who represented the Sultanate of Oman in the professional category, and one of them won the colored medal, which was won by the team coach and player Abdullah Al Farsi, who won a silver medal in the black belt, under 62 kg, after several strong and highly technical fights by elite players, international players, and national team players, while Akram Al Arimi participated in the purple belt, under 77 kg, and in the purple belt, under 77 kg, Fahad Al Arimi, and in the purple belt, under 85 kg, Faisal Al Balushi, and in the purple belt, under 85 kg, Talal Al Balushi.
Abdullah Al Farsi, member and founder of the Omani Committee for Martial Arts and Self-Defense, praised the high technical level witnessed in the professional category competitions, stressing that the Asian Professional Jiu-Jitsu Clubs Championship has become one of the most important championships on the international scene and Oman has become prominent on the world map in the sports of martial arts, jiu-jitsu and self-defense.
