Al Ayjah Lighthouse
The Al-Aijah Lighthouse was built by the Portuguese. It was once a defensive tower and was converted into a lighthouse used to safely guide wooden dhow boats to Sur Lake. The Al-Aijah Lighthouse, also known as the Sur Lighthouse, is one of the best and most beautiful attractions to visit in the Omani city of Sur. It is located facing the Gulf of Oman at Ras Ayqah, the highest point on the eastern side of Sur Port, and offers enchanting panoramic views of the city, the Gulf, and the surrounding areas. It also offers its visitors interesting cultural, historical, and natural experiences.

Al-Sunaysilah Castle
It is located in the Wilayat of Sur in the South Sharqiyah Governorate on a high land promontory, and it has a strategic location overlooking the coast and the main road leading into the interior. The fortress is square in shape and includes three circular towers and a rectangular stronghold in the northeastern corner, built of stone and mortar and roofed with sandalwood and teak wood. It is surrounded on all four sides by a high wall that reaches a height of 5.7 meters. Most of the internal units of the fortress are adjacent to this wall, in addition to the theater that was built in the southern part of the fortress and on which some cultural activities are held.

Bibi Maryam Mausoleum
The Bibi Maryam Mausoleum is a historical shrine and archaeological site dating back to the early 14th century AD, located in the coastal city of Qalhat in Oman. It is the only architectural monument that has survived with its complete structure from the ruins of the ancient city, which once served as the twin capital of the Kingdom of Hormuz.

Dhow factory
It is one of the most prominent historical sites in the Arabian Peninsula, renowned for its wooden boat building. This traditional Arabian dhow boat factory, located south of Khor Al Batha Bridge, is of great historical importance and serves as a museum showcasing various aspects of boat building. A visit to this factory offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about the traditional methods of crafting wooden boats. The exhibition features Omani ships, pictures of sailors, shipbuilders, ports, and the city of Sur itself, providing an opportunity to immerse oneself in the city's heritage and rich history.

Ghanjah
The ghanjah dhows had a curved prow with a characteristic trefoil ornament carved on top of the stem-head. They also had an ornately carved stern and quarter galleries. Their average length was 97 ft (30 m) with a 15 m (49 ft) keel-length and an average weight of 215 tons. Usually they had two masts, the main mast having a pronounced inclination towards the prow. They used two to three lateen sails; supplementary sails were often added on the bowsprit and on a topmast atop the main mast.

Ancient City of Qalhat
The property, which is located on the east coast of the Sultanate of Oman, includes the ancient city of Qalhat, surrounded by inner and outer walls, as well as areas beyond the ramparts where necropolises are located. The city developed as a major port on the east coast of Arabia between the 11th and 15th centuries CE, during the reign of the Hormuz princes. The Ancient City bears unique archaeological testimony to the trade links between the east coast of Arabia, East Africa, India, China and South-East Asia.

Bilad Sur Castle
Located in the Wilayat of Sur in the South Sharqiyah Governorate, this ancient defensive fortification is distinguished by its strategic location overlooking the sea. It is a square-shaped structure with a wooden gate secured by tightly fastened copper nails. An outer wall surrounds it, topped by four towers ranging in height from 13 to 15 meters. The walls of this wall are distributed with loopholes, gun ports, crenellations, and windows of varying shapes and sizes, as well as openings for lighting and ventilation. The fort was used as an office and administrative center for the Wali (governor) until [year missing]. 1976 AD.

Fort Ras al Hadd
