Sur Public Park

The Sur Public Park is one of the governorate’s key quality-of-life projects, extending over 156,000 m² and offering an integrated set of facilities: broad green spaces, children’s play areas, health trails, an open-air theatre, an events plaza, a flower garden, seating and kiosk areas, and a skating zone. It aims to give residents and visitors a complete recreational destination, boost economic and tourism activity, and open promising investment opportunities for Omani youth and entrepreneurs.

The project has two components: a 148,000 m² service component (landscaping and facilities, a playground, a lake, kiosks, an events plaza, fountains, sports fields, an administration building and parking); and a 195,000 m² investment component (a hotel, chalets, a commercial building, sports facilities, restaurants and cafés, a water park, an equestrian school, a multipurpose hall, an administration building and an amusement park), with estimated investment returns of about OMR 3,242,000.
