A trade delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry visits the Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China.

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s trade delegation continues its official visits to the Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China, headed by Anwar bin Hamad Al Sinani, Chairman of the Chamber’s branch in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and with the participation of Zaher bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Chamber’s branch in Al Buraimi Governorate. The delegation includes about fifty businessmen and women from the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Buraimi.

The visit, which will continue from May 24 to 3, 2025, targeted several sectors in the exhibition pavilions during the second phase, including ceramic industries, household appliances, kitchens, iron and plumbing products, home decorations, optical tools, building materials, sanitary materials, furniture, artwork and glass. During the visit, several meetings were held between Omani businessmen and participating trading companies, and they were informed about modern and advanced products and industries and the possibility of future trade exchange. The delegation expressed its admiration for the abundance and diversity of exhibits and the rapid industrial development that characterizes the friendly People’s Republic of China.

Anwar bin Hamad Al Sanani, head of the delegation, explained that such visits contribute to strengthening and revitalizing the local market and open up prospects for trade exchange and cooperation between the two countries. Zahir bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber’s branch in Al Buraimi Governorate, stressed that the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry always seeks to achieve the goals and aspirations of its members during such foreign visits, achieve the desired benefits, and gain expertise and experience.

It’s worth noting that the delegation’s program includes organizing visits to the exhibition’s second and third phases, in addition to visiting some factories and companies in Guangzhou to learn about and benefit from expertise in the targeted sectors.
