Nakhoda Saeed bin Mubarak Al Ateeqi Al Farsi
Nakhoda Saeed bin Mubarak Al Ateeqi Al Farsi: born in the Omani city of Sur in 1924 and, at the time this book was written, still living in his town of Sur Al Afia. One of the well-known nakhodas, he owned a single ship and worked for a number of shipowners in Sur, travelling between Oman, Africa, India, Yemen and the Arab Gulf states. He is among the few Sur nakhodas who reached Burma. 1 = He owned a ship named "Fath Al Khair", of the sambuk type. As for the ships on which he served as nakhoda: 1 = "Al Tariq", of the boom type, owned by Sheikh Salem bin Nasser Al Farsi.
2 = "Fath Al Khair", of the ghanja type, owned by the sons of Shila.
3 = "Al Nasiri", of the boom type, owned by Sheikh Salem bin Nasser Al Farsi — after the death of his brother Nakhoda Abdullah bin Mubarak Al Ateeqi Al Farsi, who had been nakhoda of Al Nasiri until his death.
4 = He served as nakhoda of a boom-type ship owned by Nakhoda Khamis bin Mubarak Al Fanna Al Oraimi.
