Nakhoda Salem bin Mubarak bin Hamad Al Razeeqi Al Oraimi
Born in the Omani city of Sur; neither his date of birth nor death is known. His presence and maritime activity are, however, documented during the second half of the 19th century. He was among the nakhodas renowned for their knowledge and seamanship, travelling between Oman, East Africa, Yemen, the Arab Gulf states and India.
He owned a number of ships jointly with his brothers, among them: Al Jarando (a ghanja), Al Baz, and Al Khadra (a sambuk).
