Children's Clothing in Sur

Children too have distinctive clothing: the clothing of little girls consists of the dishdasha, the kuma (head covering) and the basta, with materials similar to those of women's clothing. In the past, the dismal and the maawaz were used instead of the kuma.

Boys' clothing

Boys' dress consists of the hand-sewn Sur dishdasha, called the muktafa dishdasha, owing to a distinctive piece in the shoulder area, and ....... as a head covering; the child may be adorned with some ornaments called talahiq.
