Nakhoda Abdullah bin Khamis bin Ali bin Rabee Al Mukhaini
Born in the Omani city of Sur; neither his exact date of birth nor death is known, but he is known to have lived until the early 20th century and was therefore born in the 19th century. He lived through the period of the crisis of the French flags granted to Sur ships, between Britain and France, as a result of which the matter reached the International Court of Justice in The Hague following the incidents of 1903 [1]. The declaration issued by Sultan Turki bin Faisal included the name of the ship the nakhoda owned, namely:-
1 = the ship "Fath Al Karim".
2 = the ship "Marseille".
3 = the ship "Saad Al Karim".
4 = the ship "Al Taous".
