Sea captains
Nakhoda Abdullah bin Mubarak bin Khamis Wuld Awsha Al Alawi
Born in the Omani city of Sur in 1908 and died in 1992. One of the well-known nakhodas. He owned a number of ships with which he travelled between Oman, Africa, India, Yemen and the Arab Gulf states. Among the ships he owned:
1 = the ship "Sakouna", of the sambuk type.
2 = the ship "Barza", of the sambuk type.
He also worked as nakhoda with a number of shipowners in Sur, such as:
1 = on the ship of Nakhoda Khamis bin Salim Al Ghailani in 1960, the boom "Al Nasr".
2 = on the ships of Nakhoda Saeed bin Khamis bin Salem Al Sarai Al Alawi, the two ships Al Wanja and another of the boom type.
