Nakhoda Juma bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Daham Al Ghailani

Born in the Omani city of Sur in 1842 and died in 1922. One of the nakhodas renowned for their skill and knowledge, he was famous among his peers for his ability and excellence in the science of celestial navigation. He commanded many ships and owned a ship of his own. He travelled between Oman, Africa, Yemen, India and the Arab Gulf states. He owned one ship:
