Nakhoda Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed bin Mohammed Al Ghailani:

Born in the village of Aseela in 1924 and died in his town of Sur Al Afia in 1987. One of the well-known nakhodas, he learned seamanship at the hands of his father, Nakhoda Saeed bin Mohammed bin Masoud Al Ghailani. He travelled between Oman, Africa, India, Yemen and the Arab Gulf states. He owned ships of his own, among them: 

1 = Amanat Allah, of the sambuk type (inherited from his father Nakhoda Saeed bin Mohammed bin Masoud Al Ghailani)

2 = the ship "Al Kashah", of the badan type.

3 = the ship "Al Nasr", of the badan type.

4 =  the ship "Nour Al Bahr" (a sambuk),  owned by Saleh bin Khamis bin Anbar Al Ghailani.
